TAGS & SODIAM ACHIEVE STRONG RESULTS AT OCTOBER 2024 LUANDA TENDER

Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) and Sodiam E.P. are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the third rough diamond tender of 2024, held in Luanda, Angola.

From October 7th to 15th, 2024, the event hosted 37 leading international manufacturing companies. Despite the current challenges in the global diamond market, the response was highly positive.

The tender featured 44 diamonds over 10.8 cts, including two stones exceeding 175 cts, representing productions from seven major mines. Of the 44 stones offered, 42 were sold, generating $12.9 million in total sales.

This successful result reaffirms the strength of the TAGS and Sodiam E.P. partnership and our shared commitment to delivering maximum value to Angola’s diamond industry. The collaboration continues to highlight the advantages of presenting rough diamonds through a transparent tender system, which both buyers and mines appreciate for its competitive results.
